Articulation therapy helps individuals improve the clarity of their speech by learning to produce sounds correctly. Phonological therapy helps individuals who have difficulty using speech sound patterns correctly.

Fluency therapy helps individuals who stutter speak with greater confidence and easy.

Expressive language therapy helps individuals communicate their thoughts, ideas, and feelings more clearly.  Receptive language therapy helps individuals better understand spoken language.

Meet Katherine

Katherine Vergel is the owner and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist at Talk With Us. Born in Miami, Florida, and now residing in Coral Springs, Katherine is passionate about helping children and adults build confidence through effective communication. She began her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in 2020 while earning her second bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Utah State University. She later earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Calvin University.

 

Katherine has experience providing speech and language services in private practice, skilled nursing facilities, and school settings, allowing her to work with individuals across the lifespan and with a wide range of communication needs. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is an active member of the Florida Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (FLASHA).

Private pay practice & Step Up. We are not accepting insurance at the present time, but would gladly provide a superbill.

In-person at your home or via secure tele-health. Currently servicing Coral Springs, FL and surrounding areas in Broward County.

Specialized Stuttering Therapy

I have advanced training in the Lidcombe Program, one of the most well-researched early intervention programs for preschool children who stutter. This family-centered approach combines weekly therapy sessions with simple, enjoyable practice at home, giving parents the tools and confidence to support their child's communication in everyday life.
